Carbon fiber shell construction
The LS2 CABRIO OF597 3/4 helmet is made from high-quality carbon fiber, making the helmet shell extremely light but still ensuring strength with the ability to withstand and disperse external impact very well. The helmet shell is made from carbon fiber material called Carbon Big Square, coated with anti-fouling paint. It is pure carbon and has no air bubbles inside. This material is produced in sheets and molded into a helmet shell, joined together with a joint in the middle using a special glue.
The entire manufacturing process must be in an environment below 20 degrees Celsius for 20 days or the carbon sheet will be damaged. This material is provided by a Korean supplier – also a material supplier for the famous Arai brand.

Optional 2-shield system
The LS2 CABRIO OF597 Carbon 3/4 Helmet has 2 glasses: Sunglasses and a large, removable outer windshield. Both are scratch-resistant, UV-resistant, and non-deformable with 3D Optically Correct “A Class” Polycarbonate technology. The windshield is coated with a surface hardener to help reduce scratches and increase usage time. The sunglasses are hidden inside the helmet body and controlled by a lever on the left earcup to close and open. This sunglasses closing and opening system is designed with 2 clear notches; this notch has the effect of fixing the glasses so that they do not open and close automatically, causing unsafety while driving. This opening and closing system (Chinstrap) is quickly accepted by DOT standards for appropriate safety.
Helmet locking system
The helmet buckle is made of super light and sturdy alloy coated with scratch-resistant matte gray paint. Extremely quick to open and close the buckle: High quality durable metal buckle, comes with a flexible plastic bar with notches for easy and convenient helmet locking. Just a light “click” and your helmet is securely fastened. Unlocking is even quicker and easier when you just pull and release the ribbon on the buckle. The strap can be adjusted in length depending on the wearer’s head size.
Helmet Lining
The lining is made of Kevlar Fabric, a specialized fiber used in the aerospace industry, with high durability, smoothness, lightness, and especially quick drying and antibacterial properties. The lining is processed with 3D grooves to create ventilation and can be removed for washing and cleaning like regular fabric.
